                Golf Courses in Kuala Lumpur

                Malaysia has more than 200 golf courses spread over West Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Being a tropical country with plenty of rain and sunshine have enabled many greenery to thrive, hence making golfing one of the sports activities that is played throughout the year. You can choose to play in the city while your family can go shopping or to the theme parks.

                If you prefer the cool and refreshing mountains, head for Genting Highlands, Frasers Hills or Cameron Highlands. If you like the sea and the breeze of the wind, Damai Laut Golf & Country Club in Lumut is one of the good ones.

                Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Club

                This golf course is designed by Australian Max Wexler and is accessible via Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway and Kesas Highway.It is approximately 30 minutes drive away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). There is a club house with other facilities such as squash, badminton, swimming pool, gymnasium, bowling and tennis. A Chinese restaurant and cafeteria with other souvenir shops are also located here for your convenience. The club currently have a membership of about 6,000.

                The club recently introduced night golfing where golfers will be able to tee off every Thursday and Friday at 4:45pm and 6:45pm with a night golf fee of RM78 nett per golfer. The fee include green fee, buggy fee, night levy, daily insurance and a tube of three golf balls. With the introduction of night golfing, more golfers will be able to enjoy the game as many are busy with their work during the day time.

                In conjunction with the Merdeka 50th celebration, the club will be hosting the second Merdeka Night Golf Tournament on Aug 30 2007. Call up the club for more information.

                Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club

                Located approximately 10 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur city centre, this golf course is designed by Robin Nelson & Rodney Wright. There are many lakes and trees in this course which makes it a challenging course to conquer.

                Known also as Public Service Golf Course, this 27 holes course is located between Damansara and Bukit Kiara. The lush greenery with landscape and rolling hills that characterizes this course is designed by Ronald Fream.

                The Royal Selangor Golf Club

                This 45 hole golf course is one of the golf courses in kuala lumpur that is located in the city centre where the famous Merdeka Square and Sultan Abdul Samad are located in the vicinity. There are two 18-hole and one 9-hole golf courses that you can play. The club house also has other facilities such as swimming pool, gymnasium, billiard room, squash courts and restaurant.
